Patch for bug #0000487

Hi there.

I've logged a bug in Echo3Chart (0000487, which may be related to 0000454), and have created a patch to fix the problem.

Is there a better way of contributing? I've encountered quite a few issues I would not mind fixing.

Hi legrang,

I share your question and would also like to know in which way the upstream process of code enhancements could be improved.

There are quite a few one-or-few liners patches which actually really would solve real problems out there, but which are waiting in the bug queue to be processed. Do we really need to maintain local Echo3 forks?
