Hi,
Currently we are using echo1.1 version in the production. We developed custom defined echo components in our product. Now we would like to upgrade to new version of echo. we are planning to echo 2.1. My questions are,
[ our concerns are performance and scalability ]
1. Is echo 3.0 ready for production. if not ready, Can we expect the stable of echo 3 pretty soon ?
2. Are there any features that have been/ are going to be added in echo 3 compared to 2.1 pertaining to performance and scalability?
3. for upgrade, what is best approach to follow. (Any URLs or Documents)?
BTW: Echo is a fantastic framework.
Thanks in advance .

I'd recommend Echo3. It's
I'd recommend Echo3. It's receiving the most use, and will be a release candidate fairly soon. The betas are stable.
There are *major* performance/scalability benefits to using Echo3 over Echo2.
Many Thanks
