Echo Web Framework

Hi all, I read through as much docs for Echo3 and code as I can, but I still got this question unanswered:

Is echo3 still only allowing one app instance per page? The client-only-apps seem to play fine, but once the serverside is hooked up, it doesn't. There is still a "c_root" hard coded in DefaultHtmlService. Is this a design decision? or it's simply because we don't care about multiple instances on the same page?
